Quieting the Brain Overload

Meditation and yoga – (which is really the same thing – yoga is simply meditation in motion) – is the answer to this.

A regular practise helps our brainwaves change from the Beta State, into Alpha and Theta – if you have not already experienced this, you should definitely try it.

When we are in alpha state, or theta, we can be creative, intuitive, conscious, awake and aware, as well as calm, peaceful, happy, accepting – we are able to stop the conveyor belt of the same thoughts being served up to us , over and over, day in , day out. This make us stressed, angry, moody, nervous – and also affects our health through lower immunity – perhaps this is why there is such a pandemic of illness? Who knows……
