Our Teachers

Di

Instructor/Studio Owner

My name is Di Dall’Oglio. I live in Emerald with my hubbie Mark and three children who are growing up way too fast! I have been teaching fitness/movement for half of my life, starting as an “Aerobics Instructor” in the early 1990’s! I have been teaching Pilates since 2003 but required a detailed understanding of the method.

In 2014, I studied a higher-level Pilates and gained qualifications recognised by the Australian Pilates Method Association. I also hold the National Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and teaching Methodology. I now deliver this training at Emerald Pilates, and in Melbourne,

Throughout my whole career I have loved teaching and Pilates the most. I believe Pilates is the fountain of youth, It makes me feel flexible, strong, tall and mobile in my body, as well as clear minded, calm and happy.

It has always been my dream to have my own Pilates Studio, and to help others discover the magic of Pilates and the way it can be life changing.

As a teacher and student, I am completely passionate about the Pilates method.

Toscha

Pilates Teacher

Toscha – like all our staff, is a qualified Pilates teacher with qualification from Tensegrity Training (RTO 0182). is currently studying for her Diploma of Contemporary Pilates & Teaching Methodology with Di at Emerald Pilates. Fitness and Sports coaching has been a part of her life for many years. Starting in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer, Gym and Aerobics Instructor in the 90’s, her passion ventured to Cross Country Skiing and Biathlon where she became a qualified coach. Working with beginner to elite athletes she travelled to many wonderful winter places around the world supporting these athletes.

She is also a keen runner preferring trails to roads. After injuring her knee during a run, the surgeon advised that she should give up running. Not an ideal situation. During rehabilitation, Toscha found Pilates. Starting with the Physiotherapist and then with the tribe at Emerald Pilates, she returned to running and skiing, even venturing back to competing in Biathlon.

Pilates methodology has made its way into her coaching activities successfully helping athletes address areas of biomechanical weakness to move with greater strength and balance and programs for proactive injury prevention. She is passionate about efficient movement and helping people achieve their goals whether it be elite performance, recovering from an injury or just feeling good in their own skin. She is looking forward to sharing the understanding of how your body moves and the benefits of Pilates as a teacher of Pilates.

Kate

Pilates Teacher

Kate's relationship with Pilates started last year. Having lived with chronic back pain for 12 years with little relief from other treatments, she turned to Pilates to strengthen herself. She was surprised that after a few short months of doing Pilates that her back pain was next to gone.

This motivated Kate to have a career change to teach Pilates, having a career that helps people alongside keeping strong and feeling well was a no brainer and she enrolled in the Integrated Diploma of Contemporary Pilates.

Kate is very excited to be a part of the team at Emerald Pilates.
